Summary: Papa Nordstrom is still far away at the logging camp when the Swenson family, good friends of the Nordstroms, are about to lose their home because of a missing ring. Kate, Anders, and Erik must figure out who stole the ring and who has been sneaking onto their property, before the Swensons must leave their home.
