Synopsis: In the divided kingdom of Bracken, seven-year-old Krea only wants a life away from slavery, juggling, and her master. When rescued by an old woman and thrust into helping the King’s men, Krea finds her life constantly at risk and her reputation as a spy growing. But as her past threatens to drag her away from the old woman again, Kren must learn that love cannot be destroyed by distance, and that her actions have affected the very fate of the kingdom of Bracken.
